How does your new book, Snowboarding to Nirvana, differ from your last one, Surfing the Himalayas?
Surfing the Himalayas is a more compact book, and perhaps I could say, it is more innocent. It reminds me a lot of Antoine de Saint-Exupery's Little Prince.
Snowboarding to Nirvana, which is the second book in my snowboarding trilogy, is a much more comprehensive work of art.
There is a lot more detailed information about snowboarding techniques, there is romance, more advanced Buddhism -- I guess you would call it more of an adventure story. I certainly enjoyed writing it! The main reason I wrote it was just to turn more of the general public on to what I still consider to be the greatest sport in the world, snowboarding.
