Today I am talking to you about the steps I am taking to overcome my fear of flying. With my past experiences of severe panic and being claustrophobic on an aircraft it was not a good scene, let alone feeling. However, with tickets purchased for a concert in Las Vegas, routine healing and therapy, I am no longer making excuses for my upcoming trip. Why I Have Moved Around So Much!

I was recently asked why I move so much and today I am here to answer that question for you. To be completely honest, I have lived in almost 20 different places over the past few years. Crazy! I know! Next time will be Costa Rica if the Universe works in my favor… From Northern California to Seattle to the mountains to now San Diego where I am truly the happiest. I’ve been wanting to live here to quite some time and now I am and could not be more excited. I am also only a few minutes from my office, so no crazy California commute for me! I mean, could I be any luckier? Being 90 minutes from my family now is also a bonus. In today’s show I’m getting into the details of how and why each move happened. The reasoning behind my decision making. At the end of the day you just need to make choices that will enhance your true quality of life and well being. Mindset Shifts

It’s my birthday week and it’s also the year where I have had the most personal growth. In today’s episode I’m sharing some mindset shifts that you can start to implement into your own life when it comes to anxiety. In my opinion anxiety comes in two forms. We have situational and self-imposed. Situational is when you would be stressed out at work or maybe when a big move is about to happen. Self-imposed is more of when your mind starts running and you think of worst-case scenarios and really have no control over your mind. I have a confession to make...I have been overspending and falling into the trap of instant gratification. In episode 3 of the Blissfully Calm Podcast, I shared my story of how I paid off $100,000 in debt. During the years of paying off my debt, I made a lot of sacrifices and lived an extremely frugal life. I decided to keep one credit card open. I used this card to pay for 3 trips to Costa Rica, Europe, and countless other trips. This card was also connected to my Amazon Prime account which made it so easy to buy anything I wanted. I became addicted to the feeling instant gratification and the dopamine hit I got when I came home to a box from Amazon. My monthly credit card statements nearly gave me a heart attack. Every month I paid the balance off but would regularly have to transfer money from my savings. A few weeks ago, I had an aha-moment that my overspending was putting my future in jeopardy.
