About Us

A weekly podcast for everyone who is interested in the body as more than just a brain-taxi. The podcast contains in-depth explorations of embodied topics, and hosts guests from around the world. Speakers have expertise in diverse embodied areas from yoga, to martial arts, to body therapy, to dance, to theatre, to bodywork. The podcast is also full of practical tips and experiential exercises. It can sometimes be a bit cheeky and contains swearing so bear that in mind. With Mark Walsh of The Embodied Facilitator Course (http://embodiedfacilitator.com) and Embodied Yoga Principles (https://www.embodiedyogaprinciples.com).

Embodied Relating - with John Thompson

The co-founder of Circling Europe John Thompson joins me to discuss his beginnings as an integral tennis coach, postmodernism, “quadrants”, Circling, intuition, connection, relating, surrendered leadership, being in the moment, facts vs opinions, and the current “take down” climate. Zen lightbulb geek-out - Paul Linden and Shinzen Young Special

Two of my favourite teachers join up! We discuss the relationship between science and contemplative practice, traditions and discomfort, passive language, The Buddha as a scientist, linguistics, six directions techniques, stilling Parkinson’s, the role of humour, Shamanic ordeal, Judaism, the importance of definitions. A really special one with two (slightly mad) geniuses, The Holocaust, polarisation, ethics and gurus, human flourishing and the world today. This one is a very special geek-out treat.
