There are things we know we should be doing but for some reason don’t do them. For example exercise, for some reason we always make up an excuse not to do it, but why? If we know we need to exercise why do we not do it 3-5 times a week. Well, today I give you a reason a little more deep than just making excuses why we might not be doing the things that we know we should be doing. Great stuff!

Gardening as meditation?

On today's episode I talk about something that has helped me so much. You will get to read all about it in my new book coming out. But I would like to talk about it briefly today. I talk about gardening and how it is more than just nutrient dense food on your plate after the harvest, but the whole process is therapeutic, from preparing the soil, planting the seeds and finally eating the harvested fruit. Want to know why and how well todays episode talks about just that.

Screens and the internet, what are your thoughts?

Is the internet making things better or making things worse? If I am using a platform (the internet) that is causing so much damage to our health and relationships where my focus is on health and the importance of community why would I continue to use a platform that is directly related to so much suffering in health and relationships? What are your thoughts on the subject?

Earthing, have you heard of it!

On the latest episode I go into more detail about one of the many reasons why we need to be playing in the dirt. As you all know by now I am writing my second book where I am focusing on the importance of Earth and health. There is a term out there called Earthing, today I share an experience in my life and what earthing is and how it is helping me. My experience with dedicated meditation!

On today's episode, I talk about something that I have been doing a lot more lately that has really helped me and it is something that is becoming part of my healthy lifestyle. I had done this sporadically for the last couple of years but until I became serious about it I really never felt much from it. Ultimately, only dedicating 15 minutes a day I have really felt the difference and that is why I what to share it with you today.

On today's episode I talk about a couple of ways that I am able to reduce stress. The reason I talk about this today is because yesterday I was able to do one of the things that brings me back to the reality of yes I can. That is what I love about health, yes, it is simple, there are certain things that we must do but there are many way to accomplish them. The best and easiest way to become healthy is making it as individual as possible.

Decision making, how to make it a little easier.

On today's episode, I talk about decisions and a way to help us make them. When you hear it, it might sound a little awkward, maybe even backwards but all I ask is that you give it a try and see what happens. I talk about this because I am trying to come to a decision and it has not been easy due to my other obligations. I need to stay more focused, how can I stay focused if I have to many things going on? Truly, I would love to focus on just one thing. Well enough about me, enjoy the episode!

I really like talking with John because his books are all about history and how we can take the lessons of the past and make our lives better today. I mean that is really why we have a memory and history to not repeat what does not work and repeat what does.
