Katya Abedian is an African-Persian self-taught film director, photographer and writer. She was born and raised in South Africa and her love for the African continent runs deep. Katya aspires to create artwork that advocates the unification and oneness of mankind. Lara Klawikowski, fashion designer

Lara Klawikowski is a fashion designer based in Cape Town. She launched her eponymous label in 2010 with a focus on avant-garde design, after graduating from Cape Town College of Fashion Design. She showcased her first ready-to-wear collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Cape Town in 2013 and continues to showcase annually. Lara Klawikowski designs wearable high-concept womenswear, employing advanced pattern-cutting and unexpected, complex garment construction, unusual draping, tailoring techniques, re-fabricated materials and her signature asymmetry. Her designs are intriguingly tactile, artisanal and imaginative. Amor Coetzee, Cape Town artist

Amor Coetzee grew up in a small Eastern Cape seaside town, Gonubie and later moved to the beautiful city of Cape Town where she has been living and working in the creative field for the past 7 years. The inspiration for her work stems from a deep appreciation for the landscape, the properties of water and subtleties found between people and in nature. These elements have had the most significant influence on her artworks. Amor is very drawn to a clean and muted aesthetic and work through a process of elimination, starting out with a lot of detail and removing bit by bit until only the very essence remains.
