About Us

“Tried & True” highlights today’s most original and eclectic writers of nonfiction from the academy and beyond. Join host Paul Zakrzewski as we explore important and controversial issues in the theory and practice of nonfiction writing. “Tried & True” is a co-production of the Assay Journal of Nonfiction Studies (assayjournal.com) and the Missouri Audio Project (missouriaudioproject.com). Our theme music comes from “Something” by the East West Quartet.
