Re-release: Staying Stubborn & Persevering to Success with Dr. Holly Wheeler

Dr. Holly Wheeler is unique in that not only is she a female in a very highly male dominated field, but she also is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (rather than a Doctor of Medicine, or MD) which makes up only about 10% of physicians. In the first half of the episode, you’ll hear Dr. Wheeler explain what a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine does, how she grew up in a very small town where the women in her life served as her inspiration, and how she helps Community East’s medical residents as they transition into becoming full-time doctors and the things they go through in residency. In the second half of our conversation with Dr. Wheeler, you’ll hear her speak about some of the things that she’s learned from the mentors in her life and how her path to becoming a doctor didn’t go exactly as she had planned, but it allowed her to gain additional skills and knowledge along the way.

Re-release: Developing a Giver Mentality & Relationships with Caleb Bullock

Re-release of our full conversation with Caleb Bullock from last year. -------- Caleb has differentiated himself from most CPAs through intentional networking and relationship building. In fact, he's been so successful at this that he was recently named Director of Business Development at Somerset CPAs & Advisors. In the first part of our interview with Caleb, he speaks about he actually didn’t feel comfortable doing the typical things that accountants do but after meeting with a business psychologist, he realized that he could provide more value to the firm through business development and networking than through sitting in front of a computer all day. He teaches us that we should have a "giver mentality" in our relationships and that we should be open to coffee or lunch with someone, even if we don't think it will lead to business opportunities.

48. From 0 to 587 Units with Sterling White

In this episode, you’ll hear Sterling talk about how he got into real estate and his advice for learning about it, how he went from over withdrawing his bank account to owning 587 units, and why he values investing in himself and his mindset so much and how that’s helped him to eliminate limiting beliefs and become successful.
