The Book of Genesis: The Sore Controversy

Thank you all for listening! Last week I deliberately left some loose ends. I also pointed out the seemingly contradictory information pointing to what appears as there being formed and populated lands even though Genesis stresses, at the time, a population of one! We also noted that the beginning declares the end! We see this concept declared in nature even today in modern times. In the Spring, here in New England, you see the trees start to show color. It is almost like the colors of Fall yet!, it is Springtime. Starting in 1753 a deviation from the solid belief that Moses wrote The Book of Genesis begins. It will be further strengthened by scholars in certain philosophical circles. Chief among them was Julius Wellhausen (1844–1918), who restated the Documentary Hypothesis. What is the Documentary Hypothesis? If!. this is true!, we can all pack it up and go home back into a life of sin. For the JEDPR view destroys any iota of the fact the Bible is the Holy and Inspired Word of God. Personally, I firmly believe such controversy was deliberately introduced by those inspired solely in intellectualism to simplify what can only be understood by a heart of faith. If, Moses wrote Genesis, as can be very well and comfortably supported, we then can see The Book of Genesis, with regard to creating our world, is fully historical. This is why Assyria, Cush and Havilah appear in a conflicting timeline of events. There are seven very good scripture-based reasons to more than support the credibility that Moses not only wrote The Book of Genesis but, all five books of The Pentateuch. Regardless of source reference, down through the ages we have overwhelming evidence of Moses being the undisputed author of Genesis and the other four books of the Pentateuch. The Four Rivers of Eden

Thank you all for listening. May God bless you all in this new year. So where was Eden? What was Eden? Was Eden a city where the garden was a part? Was it the name of a land or country? Given the earth was so new, how would that work since God created only two people at first? The garden was set aside in Eden. In other words, it was sanctified. This is the first known case of sanctification, even if only in symbolism. All four rivers flow out of Eden where they are divided from one main river. Pishon, Gihon, Tigris and Euphrates… Of the four, only the Tigris and Euphrates rivers can be found on all post-flood maps today. Amazing how the River Euphrates endures virtually all human time and becomes like a bitter root to mankind who was created in the image of God! The Euphrates was there at the very beginning and it will be there at the very end. Here is another interesting observation of The River Euphrates. It was one of the original borders of The Promised Land given to Abram and his descendants! Genesis 15:18 reads, “That day the LORD made a covenant with Abram: ‘To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates River…’”. The River of Egypt originally flowed from the Mediterranean Sea (Previously known as The Great Sea) into the area that was known as the Sinai Peninsula originally owned by Egypt. In Hebrew a river is not only water, but a mechanism for carrying light! Also, Perat comes from Pri meaning fruit. Quoting, “Do you also remember the crystal clear waters flowing from the throne of God? (Daniel 7:10) Could these same “fiery” waters be life to the righteous and yet a “lake of fire” to the wicked? This is something to consider since the end has been declared from the beginning. FROM: Grace in Torah.net We hope you find this study most instructive. Get your sharp pencil, paper and Bible out! Annual Update – 2018 ~ 2019

The Church of the Un-Churched hopes your Christmas was filled with God’s love, the love of family and a reason to press on into the new year filled with the optimism of God’s blessing to come. We also hope that your New Year is filled with happiness, God’s Love, and His hand upon you. Please be advised it is Winter in the Boston, Massachusetts area. I do not have the advantage of a whisper room or sound booth. I will make every effort to keep heating pipe banging out of this Pod-Cast while it is Winter. Delays in posting our Pod-Cast episodes may occur between now and the end of April. New England winters can be suddenly cruel and punishing in many ways. That frequently does put immediate demands on clearing our premises. Clearing snow can take as long as 14 hours. Brother Henry will return with another super great!, message. He is an incredible young man of God with whom it is my distinct pleasure to serve side-by-side with in God’s Kingdom. We will also have the distinct pleas...

A Lesson Learned From Mary - Mother of Jesus

May your Christmas be marry, bright and filled with God’s blessings, the love of family, and friends. The Story of Mary, approached by the Angel Gabriel, announcing the fact she will bear a son, provides a modern, everyday lesson of how we engage with God and His calling on our lives. Usually, we are reluctant to embrace God when He speaks to us and / or calls us to His work. We doubt, we question, we wonder. Was that God… Speaking to me?! We must keep in mind, the culture setting of the day. A proper woman never kissed her intended, at least in public, until the pastor, priest or Rabbi said, “You may know kiss the bride!” or what any other phrase may have communicated the same thing. Being found pregnant, single, even in an engaged situation (as Mary was) and with child, meant you would be stoned to death! This is why Joseph wanted to put her in seclusion. If, as many pastors, preachers, and teachers contend, Mary was in sinful doubt of God! In a worst case of sinful defiant re...

Christ’s Genealogy ~ The Hidden Story

Thank you all for listening. May God bless you richly this Christmas season! The genealogy of Jesus tells a hidden story seldom, if ever investigated. Have you ever wondered why the first chapter of Matthew goes on, at length!, with the genealogy of Jesus? Some call this chapter one of the most boring passages of scripture. Yet, if we press past that boring feeling, we uncover an awesome story! Yes, forty-one ancestors in all before the birth of Jesus! This is, all leading to something… Something good. In all those names, did you notice a pattern… or maybe more than one pattern?! I will say, this is a treasure trove of interesting study points! One highly noticeable standout is Yahweh. It stands out hugely. What do we see? In order, My Father!, is Yahweh, Yahweh: h-a-s judged, is perfect, strengthens, causing to forget, supports, and will establish. Azor: stone of heaven (Otherwise called, Lapis Lazuli) If you study creation, you learn of a place in the days of man before the fall...

What Happened to: “Peace on Earth and Good Will to Men”?

Thank you all for listening. May God bless you richly this Christmas season! The words of Jesus, in Matthew 10:34-39, are very contrary to our culture, church culture and overall beliefs, especially, at Christmas time. Christmas is a time of cheer and celebration. Clearly, from the fall of man forward, discord and enmity lives on. It well explains the world we see and live in today. But, starting at Thanksgiving, we see many homes in this state described here in Matthew 10:34-36. The curse rearing its ugly head as well. Enmity means, “Deep-seated, often mutual hatred; A feeling or state of hatred or animosity”. Maybe not to this extreme but!, it does happen seemingly more so this time of year. It then, appears to subside until the Christmas dinner planning. The setting up and decorating of the tree and home. Families seem to more resemble Jesus’ comments in Matthew than they epitomize “Peace on earth and good will to men”. Why does it literally read, “Glory in the highest to G...

“The Book of Revelation: The New Creation ~ The Final Reminder”

Today we close our Revelation Series with Chapter 22. The scene in the first five verses of chapter 22 are strikingly similar to a scene in Genesis in the creation. While not identical in any way, the similarities are to take serious and important note. The first five verses of Chapter 21 are the final comments in the context that was started in Revelation 20:9. The tree of life was a single, on of a kind, tree in The Garden of Eden. It flourishes in the New Creation! It is also the one, tree in the garden Adam was not, instructed to not eat its fruit. Maybe now, who knows, we have an explanation for that here in Revelation. Then… Maybe it is nothing more than a life symbol. Maybe, if there is anything at all to glean from this, it is based in the number of The Tree of Life trees. It seems, that the fruit from the Tree of Life, sustains mankind eternally. It appears its fruit worked this way in The Garden and works this way in the New Creation. After being disobedient in The Garden...

“The Book of Revelation: New Earth, New Heavens, New Jerusalem”

Revelation chapter 21 opens with this very definite comment in verse 1 which reads, “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had, ceased!, to exist, and the sea existed, no more.”. That, in a very definitive way, soundly!, contradicts the belief this is a world without end! Young’s Literal Translation, translates Ephesians 3:21 this way, “to Him is the glory in the assembly in Christ Jesus, to all the generations of the age of the ages. Amen.”. Does that really translate to world without end?! What we just read is a literal translation from the Greek! Translating it as “world without end” would be poetic or of conceptual translation. Barnes Commentary reads, “There is a richness!, and amplification of language here, which shows that his heart was full!, of the subject, and that it was difficult to find words to express his conceptions. It is, literally, “unto all generations of the age of ages,” or “unto all the generations of the eternity ...

“The Book of Revelation: The 1000 Year Reign - More Judgment”

Chapter 19 closes with Christ coming to the earth again in what we describe as, His “Second Coming”. At this point, one might expect to read something about Babylon’s destruction. Yet, the Book of Revelation jumps to the Millennial Reign of Christ without even a hint of Babylon’s destruction! So what of Babylon’s destruction?! Isaiah chapter 21 is the only possible explanation of what may have happened. Even though nothing is recorded in The Book of Revelation about Babylon’s destruction, Isaiah 21 gives us a profound understanding of what that destruction will look like when it comes on the Babylon of Revelation. We already know too, what we read in Isaiah 21 is amplified in The Book of Revelation because her destruction is mixed double! Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 give us much more insight as to who Gog is. Ezekiel gives us great amounts of information about what they intend for the world in a prophecy. Being prophecy, it is about events that are both yet to come soon, as wel...

“The Book of Revelation: The Bride Weds a Warrior”

The first five verses open with a continuation of the context established in chapter 18. Then… Revelation 19:6-7 reads, “[6] Then I heard what sounded like the voice of a vast throng, like the roar of many waters and like loud crashes of thunder. They were shouting: ‘Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the All-Powerful, reigns! [7] Let us rejoice and exult and give him glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come and his bride has made herself ready!’”. Notice the pattern in The Book of Revelation. We have the Letters to the Seven Churches. Then the “church” or churches, disappear from The Book of Revelation. We see things go bad and then!, from bad to worse. Then, from worse to unspeakable! Now, the church returns to the heavenly scene, IN HEAVEN!, as a great multitude in Revelation 19:1 and verse 6. Who is this multitude? Is it only The Bride of Christ as we presently understand? Is it The Bride of Christ and all those martyred in The Tribulation thus far? Is T...
