Peter's Continued Ministry
The church continued to grow as God's people continued to do ministry. The church has continued to grow over the last two thousand years as God's people continued to do ministry. The church will continue to grow in Davenport, IA, and Tampa, FL, and Kenya, and to every corner of the globe, as God's people continue to do ministry. It is our calling- preaching the gospel in our homes, in the marketplace, on the street corners, from door to door.

The Early Church Growth Model - Sermon Review

The Early Church Growth Model
The early Church growth model was to be built up in the word, to live with a fear of God, and to be led by the Holy Spirit. How are we doing-

Planned Parenthood: Did God Save Omar?
You can watch the video of this conversation, here- https---youtu.be-JqG1F2TZWjA.----While ministering outside the Planned Parenthood in Iowa City, IA, one of the signs Tony held read- -God sees abortion as murder. You need Jesus.-----A man named Omar, while on his way to work, drove by and saw Tony with the sign. He was compelled to stop.----Omar greeted Tony with a hug, which was not the typical response to the sign. Omar confessed to, along with his wife, murdering three of his children, by way of abortion. He said, -I ask God for forgiveness every night.-----Tony asked Omar if he knew how to received God's forgiveness. He said, -No.-----What followed was a remarkable conversation that left Tony wondering if God saved Omar.

Mall Evangelism: Is Noah in the Ark?
In his first epistle, the apostle Peter shows us that Noah's ark is a picture of Jesus Christ -see 1 Peter 3-19-22-. Recently, Tony met a young man named Noah--a young man who professed faith in Jesus, the Ark of God.----Noah was working a kiosk in the mall. The business he represented was a bathroom refitting company. He looked bored out of his mind. Tony usually tries not to disturb people while they are working, but in all his time spent in his local mall, he's NEVER seen a customer at this particular kiosk.----Noah grew up in the church. His church seems to be a typical American, evangelical, charismatic church. The wives of the pastors are, by default, pastors themselves, in contradiction to the clear teaching of Scripture. The Statement of Faith on the church website says just enough to be classified as Christian, but little enough for the discerning person to know that he might not know what the church truly believes until he's spent some time there.----It appears that Noah g...

The Reasoned Reaction To Saul's Conversion
Saul's conversion caused the Jews and the Hellenists to want him dead, and yet he was delivered from them. Then Christians in Jerusalem doubted his salvation, causing Barnabas to come alongside him and testify his faith. The reason for these reactions to Saul's conversion was God's plan for Saul's life, and His plan for Paul to take the Gospel to the gentiles, with Barnabas by his side. God's decree is sure, and He is the primary cause using secondary causes to carry out His plan for His people. Beloved, we serve a wise and awesome God, whose plan has redeemed us, is keeping us, and will glorify us. He also has a plan to save others using our lives of obedience. No matter what comes to pass, we can trust in God's plan for redemption of His chosen people.

Saul's Strength
We see in Saul an example of a new believer increasing in strength as he progresses in living out Jesus' calling on his life. This strengthening began immediately after Saul's conversion and continued for the rest of his life. To know God's Word more, and to trust in His promises will be our source of increasing strength.
