Lompoc and St. Joseph played a classic on the softball diamond, and the Braves were able to get a walkoff win on the baseball field. Nipomo swimming brought home the first CIF title to the Central Coast for the Spring season and several teams are preparing for their first taste of the postseason. Cabrillo was eliminated on Tuesday, but St. Joseph plays later this week along with Santa Ynez. How will the Knights and the Pirates fare in their matchups? Lompoc baseball has been playing strong lately, but upcoming matchups against Templeton and Santa Ynez will decide their seeding in the postseason. Claudia Terrones was named the new Athletic Director at Lompoc High School after Donny Cross announced that he will take another position with the school. How will Terrones do in the new position, can we expect to see her on the sidelines next year as girls basketball head coach.
