The berries are high in vitamins A,B, and C. It really does help reduce the duration of the virus. In our family we have used the syrup; lozenges; chewables and gummies. Garlic - contains the compound allicin, which may have antimicrobial properties. Adding garlic to your diet might reduce the severity of cold symptoms. According to research, it might even help you avoid getting sick in the first place. Manuka Honey - It is loaded with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds.
