About Us

Host Brian Lane wants to bring you a unique perspective on how to use the hemp plant in your active, everyday life. The podcast will attempt to dismiss the common misgivings on this plant which should help drive our endocrine system. Guests will include, athletes, entrepreneurs and real people with real experiences with cannabis. Brian Lane and contributing host Robert Pye sift through the research on cannabis as well as seek out stories which can relate to us all.

They also discuss how Juul has been given access to New York through the current proposed ban to be able to monopolize sales for 90 days.

ERecently installed New York Hemp Industries Association chapter president Aidan Woishnis talks about his five years in being involved in the cannabis industry. Aiden talks about upcoming FDA and USDA expected announcements as well as how he came into the industry originally. Woishnis has experience growing hemp and educating people on the truth about the plant. Aiden has visited many police stations and met with many bank representatives to help them understand the current legal aspects of the plant. Flowered Wellness believes Homeostasis – the overall balance of our bodies – is necessary to achieve optimal wellness. David Deutsch & James Frisicaro had a desire to help create this across all planes – mentally, emotionally, & physically. This dream, combined with a vision to spread awareness about the benefits of cannabis throughout the Greater Buffalo area, led to the creation of Flowered Wellness. With affiliated NP Jerry Frisicaro assisting with entry to the NYS medical marijuana program, as well as affiliated Chiropractor, nutrition & research expert Dr. Lisa Hester joining the team, Flowered Wellness is a family affair.

ERecent SUNY Brockport graduate James Schultheis, whose diploma was recently delivered, joins host Brian Lane for a diverse discussion on topics such as working full time while getting a degree, dangerous motorcycle stunting, and hard metal music. James works for Sensation Nightclub in Rochester and leads landscape crews by day, he shows he is well read and takes responsibility for his actions. In addition Brian talks about an exciting event which he attended in Albany on August 14, 2019. The Hemp Industries Association helped put on theNYHIA Hemp Farming & Legal Update Educational Event. Itprovided attendees with a federal and state legal update as well as a hemp farming research report from SUNY Morrisville, in addition Cornell University provided information on the anatomy of a hemp farming contract and what to watch out for.

Clark owns a local plumbing company as well as Demand a Drone, which provides contracting drone services to a variety of organizations across the country. In addition, Clark talks about scuba diving around the world with his brother as he has made hundreds of dives. His latest project is working with musical talent as a manager. EThis episode features local magician and science teacher Dr. Vince Mancuso. The middle school science teacher shares with us his passion for teaching, magic, family and learning. Dr. Mancuso has a website called Magic Club Academy where students and teachers can gain resources to foster the art of magic in our youth. He is proficient at many aspects of magic. Vince Mancuso, Ed.D., has been a middle school science teacher for 20 years. His research focuses on discrepant event phenomena in the science classroom and inquiry-based reform, specifically the development of inquiry-grounded curriculum and effective inquiry practices that enrich traditional classrooms. He developed and shaped Phenomena-Driven Inquiry and the POQIE model through fifteen years of extensive research and field-testing that began with his Master’s work, carried through his doctoral studies, and continued through several years of post-doctoral action research.
