HundrED's goal is to help improve education and inspire a grassroots movement through encouraging pedagogically sound, ambitious innovations to spread across the world. Saku Tuominen founded Broadcasters, one of the most successful Finnish independent tv production companies with Juha Tynkkynen in 1989. They sold the company twice, both times to Sweden but to different buyers, first to MTG and then to Zodiak Entertainment. In 2009-2010 Saku Tuominen was the Chief Creative Officer of Zodiak Entertainment, the world’s 3rd largest tv production company in London. The HadaNou Collective (HNC) exists to make it easy for students, families, and communities to shape schools in their own image. HNC specializes in the process of Community Co-creation, which is a process that they facilitate to support communities in changing the schools that currently exist in their neighborhoods (through what they call "Centers") and in supporting communities to design and build their own schools from scratch. HNC currently serves students in Colorado, USA, and is engaged in deep impact research and codification work as we prepare to scale more dramatically.

In summer 2016 he started to work on refugees{code}. Their main goal is to integrate refugees into society. They do this by offering a 9 months full time programming course in order to find a job. Today they are a 10 people team. He worked for an electronics firm in the US for about four years, before coming back to India to join the Teach For India Fellowship. Post the two years, he founded iTeach Schools - a charter school network in Pune, to provide a free and high quality high school education to the most underprivileged students of the city. He started as the School Leader of the first school in 2015, and have transitioned to the CEO role since 2017, as they expanded to six schools in the city. iTeach Schools is a network of free high quality secondary charter schools serving nearly 1000 low-income students of Pune city across 5 branches.
