#36. Begin, again. But this time, not alone.

So many of us have had the experience of having to start all over. Sometimes it’s very stressful. Heck, most of the time, it’s stressful. How about enlisting the services of someone else to hold you accountable, so that you find yourself beginning again - fewer times? On this episode, we talk about how to successfully begin again. Yes it will always be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be as stressful as last time. This time, it may be more successful. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tyrone-ceaser/support

#35. My my, why are you so anxious?

In the words of hip hop legend Ice Cube, “Today was a good day!”

“Just waking up in the morning got to thank God...I don’t know, but today seems kind of odd...” . Though hip hop legend #IceCube said his day started out like tough according to his song, he ended up having a really good day, because what usually happens in his neighborhood didn’t happen in his neighborhood on this particular day. Sometimes points of reflection like this really help us to tune into just how good we have it. That being said, it’s our responsibility to be grateful and appreciative of the days, and take advantage of those times by remaining present and grateful. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tyrone-ceaser/support

#33. Lebron isn’t a ball player. He’s a guy who plays ball. #youaren’tyourlabelspchangeit.

Think about all the great people from history. Hardly ever did they strictly identify with the label society gave them. The business mogul is a philanthropist. The ball player is a mentor. The scientist is a saxophonist who changes music. David the Shepard boy becomes the giant killer. So: who are you? You’re not your label, so stop acting like it. Be you, not your label. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tyrone-ceaser/support

#32. I want bigger problems in my life. What about you?

We all seek change for the better. Well, how can we measure that change? Traditionally, we look at metrics such as money from careers, the people we associate with (and their worth) , etc. How about this metric-based, qualitative approach: how big are the problems in your life? Yes, it’s possible to gauge your growth by the type of problems you have, and the ones you are willing to solve. #31. The Calm after the storm. Take advantage of it!

Hurricane Florence is gone. So...why is the sun always so much brighter after a storm? 3 takeaways 1. Recognize the blessings in your circumstances. 2. Recognize the importance of clarity after life’s tough spots. 3. Circumstances don’t make the man. They reveal the man to himself. Be thankful, and reverse your thinking about undesirable situations. Look at them as a notification of needs for improvement. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tyrone-ceaser/support
