Peter Stebbins of the Lily and Earle M. Pilgrim Art Foundation joins DC Public Library's very own, Julie S. and Will R., to talk about the series "It's a Small World After All: Art Wraps on Historic Georgia Avenue." The series, a three-part program at the Petworth Neighborhood Library, is about DC history, traffic box art, and storytelling. Mr. Stebbins reveals the origins of the series, describes what is traffic box art, and how we can be oral historians.

Roland Roebuck joins DCPL Radio to discuss activism and issues of Afrolatinidad in Washington, DC. Mr. Roebuck is nationally known as a leading spokesperson on issues that impact Afro-descendants, he has worked tirelessly to promote and champion human and civil rights. Through advocacy, campaigns for social justice and mentoring, Mr. Roebuck works to combat racism. This episode will be in Spanish in observance of Hispanic Heritage Month.
