TFP Episode 19: Self Limiting Beliefs and How I Deal With Them

My contention is we all have self limiting beliefs. Mine run the gammut from image, to medical insurance to confidence. When I was younger, I believed I had to have a job so I had good medical insurance to treat my diabetes. My confidence is one I have struggled wit longer than my diabetes. I always thought f myself as the fat kid no one would love. I still struggle with this but much less than I used to. I have used hypnosis quite a bit and have used the services of Hyptalk, Steve G Jones, Tellman Knudson and Doug Ottersburg. Hypnosis is NOT when you are completely unaware of what is happening when in a trance. It is simply a heightened level of awareness. Subliminals are different as you can play them anytime of the day. I play these constantly and they are highly effective. Another, is called Brain Tap which is a unique headset and integrated visor which uses brainwaves to make improvements.

TFP Episode 18: Live Events and Their Impact

Live events can really transform you and your business. My 1st was truly transformational. At this event, I was given the opportunity to be in a book with a New York Times Best Selling Author. I met Daven Michaels at the event and vividly remember is compelling story. I also met a couple who lived in the Central Florida area and as a result of that meeting, as hired by them to do contract work for them. The book offer I participated in led to a formal book signing at the same event 6 months later. One of the presenters at this event truly captivated me and resonated with me and what I wanted to. The story was compelling and incredibly powerful. This was actually Dave VanHoose. Come to find out, Daven was trained by Dave. I invested in a program Dave offered and began my training and transition to speaking and presenting live. Through a Speaking Empire live event, I met Mitch Carson who produced the Speak in Dubai program which I participated in. This led to me connecting with Joel B...

TFP Episode 16: I'm Writing a Book, Why Aren't You?

I have been writing a book for the last 4 months and I have learned a lot. The 1st thing is ANYONE can write a book. It could be as easy as sitting and writing a couple of pages a day for a month or even easier if you use your phone to record yourself and have it transcribed. Everyone has a book in them, I believe this. I also learned that an editor is critical if you want your book to appear professional, especially when you self publish. Last, I list a few resources in this episode to help you get your book done.

TFP Episode 14: How Brendan Quit His Job Managing a Bowling Alley and Will Make Over $250,000 This Year

Brendan Zarhndt Brendan started out as a student of mine when I launched FBA Domination, my Amazon FBA program. This year, he will sell over $250,000 in products. He is preparing for the 4th quarter of 2016 which will be the busiest time of the year in his business. He might even do over $300,000 and is doing this in 30 hours a week or less. When I met Brendan, he was working as a manager at a bowling alley. When he got started with the FBA side of things, he treated it as a career and a real income. He was actually able to leave that job and earn his income from Amazon. Arbitrage - capitalizing on a market inefficiency. Example: you go to a retail store and see an item for sale less than the same item is selling somewhere else. In this case, we use Amazon. Brendan says he started with less than zero by going to Walmart and other retailers and finding clearance items which were cheaper than on Amazon. But, he found books to be very profitable especially when he went through books he...

TFP Episode 11: A Hurricane Never Built A Business Like Steve

Steve The Hurricane Weiss Steve has really excelled at branding himself as The Hurricane. The goal of any marketing, public relations, advertising and branding is to increase your brand awareness. Public relations is a public testimony to what the business is doing. Steve spoke about a bakery near his home where the food is phenomenal and the service is even better. This bakery is all over social media. So Steve feels that all 4 of these elements: advertising, marketing, public relations and branding all happen at the same time. Geico is a company Steve feels does an amazing job of branding with the gecko mascot and this is actually a small part of the marketing message and mission. If starting out with none of this, begin with a mission statement and core values. This drives everything you do in your business.
