About Us

The Mahabharata, an east Indian epic, chronicles the life of an archer named Arjuna whose focus was so precise that an arrow of his could pierce the universe itself. Once, Arjuna knelt by a pool of water and by looking into it's reflection, was able to shoot an arrow through the eye of his target high above. Admirers of this story may mistake Arjuna’s legendary focus as being bound to the material qualities of arrow and target. However, Arjuna's entire story reveals his focus towards family, teachers, countrymen, nature and even adversaries. Arjuna's focus is to understand and share a reality with others. In this way empathy becomes the arrow, and the mind's eye, where unity resides, the target. Our aim is to provide the perspective of peoples whose humanity has been disestablished through indoctrination and, in doing so, establish a humanity that is aligned with all. To do so we must find the mind, a process that requires realizing our own humanity, the root of it and the obstacles in front of realization. Arjun's Arrow means to provide a platform for the conscious revival of ancestral knowledge and the retrieval of knowledge lost. Finding, requires recognition that the institutionalized way of life, perpetuated unabashedly within colonized nations, has served as a tool to divide and conquer the human spirit in service of the conqueror. Finding, requires the revival and unity of our combined ancestries to be used as a passport towards true humanity.
