Peaceworks KC held its annual commemoration of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on Sunday at Loose Park. KKFI was on hand to record. This year marks the 74th anniversary of the two tragedies.

There was a die-in memory of those who died due to contaminants at the old weapons plant at Bannister Federal Complex, and seventeen activists were arrested for trespassing.
