Cablegate: Anniversary! & Occupy, Assange extradition, & proposed NDAA bill

An Australian and a Californian discuss Wikileaks for your infotainment. This week we looked at cable #09STATE23141 which touched on the relocation of Iraq scientists who were forced into their WMD program. Whether they were unsuccessful intentionally or not is to be determined. We are following up with the scientist from this cable to try and interview him, if indeed he did end up in Australia after several failed attempts to acquire a visa. But first we looked at the incident at Occupy UC Davis with the "Pepper Spray Cop." Also, we celebrate one year since the diplomatic cables were first released by WikiLeaks, and Julian Assanges' upcoming verdict. AND we talked about the proposed bill to the NDAA stating that the US Military can hold civilians indefinitely..... http://www.mediafire.com/file/ab24l47j5a70t9k/Meaningless%20Words%20Episode%2022.mp3

Blow Whistles & Occupy with Special Guests Jimmy Massey & Sandra Peevers!

An Australian and a Californian discuss WikiLeaks for your infotainment. The best thing about this job is that I have the opportunity to speak to real revolutionaries like Jimmy Massey, who has made the world a better place by just having the guts to speak the truth. He was the original whistleblower from the latest Iraq War (how sad is it that we have to specify which war?) and let the world know that civilians were being murdered in Iraq, not just enemy combatants. He received criticism for this for years, until the Iraq War Logs released by Wikileaks Cablegate last year backed up everything Jimmy had said was true. On top of that, he's a humble and "regular" guy who was willing to share his story with us, along with new insights into life after whistleblowing. We were also joined by Sandra Peevers from RevolutionTruth & Occupy Otsego, whose valuable insights into the Occupy Movement apply to all occupiers, so listen up! Thanks once again Jimmy and Sandy, and you are both welcome ...

But first, we discussed current related events with Ms. Bolen, and the upcoming panel that RevolutionTruth is hosting on October 26th at 9am PST (US Pacific Time). Cablegate: China hoards gold then the leak at Wikileaks

EPISODE 16 Recorded September 6th and 16th 2011 An Australian and a Californian discuss Wikileaks for your infotainment. This week we looked at the leak at Wikileaks, which involved a series of errors leading to the unredacted and complete Cablegate dump of over a quarter of a million cables. We also looked at Chinas' up and coming economy again, and what it means for the economies of the USA and Australia, and at Libya and Japan. We looked at the situation in Syria, and at what Amnesty International are doing to help civilians there. http://www.mediafire.com/file/wjvqahqwksz9qb3/Meaningless%20Words%20Episode%2016%2C%20recorded%20September%206th%20%26%2016th%2C%202011.mp3

Cablegate: Human Trafficking

EPISODE 15 Recorded August 23rd 2011 An Australian and a Californian discuss Wikileaks for your infotainment. In this episode we addressed the cable #03HANOI2323 which was about the USG's concern with the amount of human and narcotics trafficking making its way from Vietnam to the United States. Vietnam wanted help to stop the trafficking of humans, but denied that there was a narcotics trafficking problem. It was interesting to see the USG concerned with human trafficking here when it went hand in hand with narcotics trafficking, and with both finding their way to the USA and causing problems there, and yet in cable #09NAPLES69 which we examined in episode 2 of Meaningless Words, the USG had absolutely no problem with putting an ambassador in charge of negotiating on their behalf in Italy, even though said ambassador was known for trafficking humans prior to this.... http://www.mediafire.com/file/1g48rd3d91llqlh/Meaningless%20Words%20Episode%2015%2C%20recorded%20August%2023rd%20201...
