About Us

This is Rick Edwards’ quest to make sense of the big political decision before the UK on June 8th: the (snap) General Election 2017. With the country at a pivotal crossroads and so many of us still undecided, this show is a balanced exploration of the defining challenges and choices facing voters at the ballot box. Featured contributors include: Professor Philip Cowley (political scientist at Queen Mary University of London), Ian Dunt (editor of politics.co.uk), Ann Pettifor (economist and co-founder of Policy Research in Macroeconomics), Sam Bowman (executive director of The Adam Smith Institute), Abi Wilkinson (journalist and political commentator), Professor Patrick Minford (economist at Cardiff University and member of Economists for Free Trade), Robert Colvile (editor of CapX), and Prof David Blake (director of the Pensions Institute at Cass Business School).
