Ty sits down with Rene Hernandez who shares the history of the ranch along with how the desert bighorn sheep went from being extirpated to thriving in the area. Heather and Justin Wise also join the conservation. Heather was lucky enough to win a hunt on La Palmosa through the Wild Sheep Foundation. Check out our previous episode to hear how to hunt went.

EHeather Wise won the desert sheep hunt donated to the Wild Sheep Foundation by La Palmosa Ranch. WSF gave away the hunt at their life member breakfast in 2018. The kicker to this giveaway is you have to be present to win. Heather, being the trooper she is, made the breakfast still three sheets to the wind from the night before. When they drew her name she wasn't able to hide her condition and stumbled on stage to accept the prize. Listen how this hunt went!
