About Us

In a world that can feel divisive and bleak, it's easy to get caught up in feelings of hopelessness, but the beautiful, glorious, truth is this: LOVE NEVER FAILS. In the 40 years I’ve been on the airwaves, I’ve implored my listeners to LOVE SOMEONE; Family, friends, neighbors, community, the Lord, and themselves.I’m talking to guests with names you may know, and those you may not. But the reason I'm talking to them is because I feel they have an inspiring story to share with you on how to change the world, One Heart At A Time.New episodes drop the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month!

GARY SINISE

I've admired the acting skills of today's guest for years and I've been equally impressed (and entertained) with his musical abilities! But it is his devotion to our Veteran's, our First Responders, and their families that propelled my esteem for him into the upper stratosphere.Gary Sinise is a man of talent, honor, and action. Join us as we talk about his new book, Grateful American, A Journey from Self to Service, and the work of The Gary Sinise Foundation, AND to hear of my own very personal (and profound) experiences with what Gary refers to as our "Freedom Providers."The audio quality of our interview isn't the best, but the man and his message are FANTASTIC on this episode of LOVE SOMEONE. ~ Delilah Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers

TRISHA YEARWOOD

Cozy up with me and a warm hearted, country music icon, television (cooking!) show host, and all around great gal... I'm talking about the one and only Trisha Yearwood! Fans (and whoa does she have fans!) may have never heard Trisha like this before. We're dishin' up truths about our lives and her spectacular main course, Let's Be Frank, an album of Frank Sinatra tribute numbers, 20 years in the making, now served. ~ Delilah Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers

ANGELA TUCKER

One late evening, while indulging in my favorite insomniac habit of watching documentaries, I stumbled upon Angela Tucker's CLOSURE. This film, created by Angela's husband on a flip-phone, was only meant for her at the time of it's making. It's the step-by-step journey she went on to find her birth parents and something of herself she felt was missing. Angela, a bright, beautiful black woman was raised by strong, loving white parents in a predominantly white community. They gave her a loving foundation, a family, and a future, but her features did not match theirs - those of us who have no experience with this may not understand how difficult that can be for a child to process. Angela found her birth family and discovered many things about herself along the way. She also found her life's work created from a passion to help and support others on similar quests; sharing CLOSURE is one way of doing so. Angela is among those warriors helping to make the world a better place, One Heart at a Time! Join us in the studio as she shares her story. ~ Delilah Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers
