Episode 7 - A Knoxville Re-boot?

Hi This is Rob Howard - when I started A Knoxville Podcast, podcasting was young and full of grace. Now I'm just not sure what direction I'd like to take to podcast in, but I know I'd love to do it more often. Some ideas I've been kicking around include talking with friends about different aspects of living in town - people from different areas, what they do for fun and recreation in the Scruffy City and go from there. If you have any ideas feel free to comment here or e-mail me with "A Knoxville Podcast" in the subject line at robhowardkw at gmail .com I hope to hear from you!

Episode 5 - So long Everybodyfields.

Here is a recording of one of the songs from an Everybodys show in 2008 on http://www.hearya.com/ - not too long ago the Everybodyfields called it quits. I loved their music but for now, Sam Quinn is putting out a new CD just any day now - look forward to it at http://www.sambquinn.com/ - his former songwriting partner Jill Andrews has a CD as well. You can check her out at http://www.jillandrews.com/site/ I hear Sam's new CD is exquisitely heartbreaking. He "kinda" talks about it in a Ramseur Records video at Vimeo: http://vimeo.com/9912402

2007 Live Music Wrap-Up Show

This week I'm doing a wrap-up of some the great shows that I attended this year - every weekend there is great music going on here in Knoxville, but these are just a few songs by bands that I went to see personally. Some of these recordings are from my own digital recorder that sat on the table next to me, others are studio recordings that were made by some of the bands I enjoyed this year. A Knoxville Podcast - Knoxville.Podomatic.com Phil Pollard - Letter From Abraham Lincoln (Live) www.philpollard.com The Bitter Pills - It Is You (Studio) http://www.myspace.com/bitterpillsaredead Randall Brown - I Love Every Last One Of You (Studio) www.randallbrown.com The Corduroy Road - Muleskinner Blues (Woody Guthrie) (Live) www.myspace.com/thecorduroyroad Plan A http://www.myspace.com/planamusic Russell Burt - Creepy Stories from a Fertile Macabre Mind. www.rlburt.com Chris Cummings - Integrity Web Development www.IWDonline.com Thinking of Buying or Selling your home in Knoxville?
