Episode 9 - Musician - Brandon Wildish

EI loved this conversation - Brandon is a singer and guitarist and songwriter and all we talked about all of those things in this conversation. I also included three tracks from his album, Simplicities, which is available on iTunes. I enjoyed getting some insight into the world of a professional musician - someone who gets to make his living doing what he truly loves but also working continually to improve his craft. Enjoy. Episode 8 - Marketing Executive - Gabie Boko

EI was super lucky to get a chance to talk with Gabie Boko. Gabie is the Executive Vice President of Sage North America, which is a software company that hired me on four plus years ago. Seeing Gabie in action as she revamped Sage's annual convention was a sight to behold, and it piqued a lot of curiosity in me. She was kind enough to block off a couple hours of her extremely busy schedule to talk with me about marketing, leadership, being a female in leadership, and other good stuff. You can follow Gabie at http://twitter.com/GabieBoko and you can check out some of the really amazing speakers that will be at Sage Summit at http://www.sagesummit.com.

Episode 7 - Capitalist - Mark Reinoso

EMark and I have known each other for about a decade now and the conversations I have had with him, virtual or otherwise, have always been interesting to me. He is a guy who owns multiple businesses, loves to travel, loves wine, and also has a contrarian bent about his political and economic views that, coupled with his intelligence and perspective, are always thought provoking. I asked him to come on to discuss his take on work and entrepreneurship - or as he corrected me, capitalism - and the conversation didn't disappoint.

Episode 6 - Psychotherapist - Michelle Gottlieb

EI first met Dr. Gottlieb when I was a student at Cal State Fullerton in the master's program for counseling. Years later I took the opportunity to sit down and discuss the profession of therapy and also what it's like to be a professor of potential therapists. As always, I learned a lot and enjoyed my conversation with her and I hope you do too.I now have an email address for the podcast: rzonpassion@gmail.com. I would love to hear any comments, feedback, or ideas you might have on the show and how I can get better at what I'm doing.Learn more about Dr. Gottlieb here:http://www.michellegottlieb.com/Follow her on Twitter:https://twitter.com/drmgottlieb

Episode 5 - Pilot - Thomas Rutherford

EI have known Thomas for over two decades now and every time I have had a chance to talk to him, I have found myself riveted by his knowledge of aviation (of course, because he is a pilot) and a bunch of other things. This is a guy who I have a great deal of respect for and who was actually an inspiration for this podcast - I think you will understand why. Enjoy.FYI, I have started an email account at rzonpassion@gmail.com for any critiques, comments, suggestions, or guest ideas you might have. I would love to hear your feedback. Episode 4 - Winegrower - David de Lancellotti

EDavid was kind enough to have me over to his home in historic Santa Ana to talk about Formaglini Vineyards, his winery in the Willamette Valley in Oregon. We talked about his Italian roots, Catholicism, family, and of course wine. And Sideways, which is my north star when it comes to knowledge of wine. Episode 3 - Software UX Designer - Alexa Roman

EAlexa and I met at Hattery in San Francisco, and huge thanks go to the team there for allowing us to take advantage of that gorgeous space. (Learn about Hattery at http://hattery.com.) We talked about her journey through film and architecture schools, and via film and television work, into her current career as a software UX (or, as she argues, UI) designer. We covered her eye for design and talked about her passion for Los Angeles and how it differs from San Francisco, where she now lives. I loved my conversation with her and I learned so much in the process. I hope you do too. There is a link on the right of the Podbean page with further information on some of the things we covered. Episode 2 - Actress - Stephanie Sanchez

E"There's a lot of courage in continuing to pursue the unknown."Stephanie Maura Sanchez: Officer in the US Navy / Broadcast Journalist and Reporter / Film, TV, and Stage Actor - this woman has done and achieved much in her life already. She's even a Pilates instructor, but I don't want you to start feeling like a slacker. I had the pleasure of hanging out with Stephanie at a little coffee and tea house in North Hollywood and we covered quite a bit, such as: why the Navy has the best uniforms, why broadcasting wasn't a perfect fit, and what sorts of things you can learn from the principal on Veronica Mars. Charming, driven, witty, talented - I was impressed. And I think you will be too.Learn more about Stephanie:http://www.stephaniemaurasanchez.comhttp://twitter.com/Sanchypie

Episode 1 - Philosopher - Constance Bradley

EFitting that my first episode should be someone who I have known for so long. Constance is not the person to let anything stand in the way of what she wants to do. Evidence: PhD in Philosophy, Ironman Triathlon, graduate student in Eastern medicine. Take some time to hear from someone who is absolutely fascinating and who has done more thinking than most people do in a lifetime.
