About Us

Thacknology is an irregular show when I have the greatest of fortune in talking to pioneers and visionaries invading the mundane with irresistible ideas.

Content and the Pizza

On today's rapid-fire (but stupidly long) riposte, Thack riffs on getting people to think differently about building astonishing content and customer-centric websites. A slice of different. That might never be topped. Here all week. This episode features a rant about there not being such a thing as a perfect world. You have been warned.

Be the you

Inspired by this week's goings-on I wanted to urge you to overcome the only challenges to becoming the deserved you. The real you. The one you lock away. Those challenges aren't real. They're not engineered to suppress you. They're inside your mind. And it's time to make them disappear...

Event Radio Is Go!

I half-officially unveiled my new event radio service today using Facebook Live as the platform. As you'll hear, that destroyed the sound quality. Which isn't the world's best advertisement for an audio service, but you get the gist. This is my passion. Tell your pals - if they've got a conference planned, I've got the goods they need to build an event that'll leave its attendees panting for more.

A-ha! It's the best tech conference of 2017...

A-ha is a Silicon Valley conference built by tech analysts CB Insights and making its debut December 12 and 13, 2017. CB Insights are among my favourite content creators and will doubtless make A-ha! a must-attend event on the global tech calendar. Thacknology checks in. And don't forget - if you want Thacknology on the scene at A-ha!, Tweet @CBInsights and tell them so.

5 ways to build a better business

Think Customer

Think content marketing and your mind turns to articles and features and GETTING IT DONE. Pause. Instead of infuriation when the results don't come in, let's make this work. Let's think about who matters. About what matters to them. About everyone being aligned. And now, finally, let's start making magic...

Future of content marketing? Look inside...

On today's episode of Thacknology I'm sharing what it means to do four-walls marketing - the stuff that puts everything on the line about who you are and what you do to build deeper, more valuable relationships with your clients of today and tomorrow. Inside marketing is something we overlook. But when we're all on the same page, through consistent application of training and understanding of common processes - we become one. And the results - customer and business growth - are dynamite! Sell that sizzle!
