About Us

Andrew Payne hosts "What’s Up Kansas City"--a podcast dedicated to discovering the most interesting people and best things to do in Kansas City. Each week we will interview a guest who is part of the fabric of the Kansas City Culture: thought leaders, business leaders, politicians, journalists, authors, chefs, artists, techies, bartenders, celebrities, and maybe even Uber drivers. There are two parts to each episode. First, we will talk with the guest about their Kansas City story. What they do and what they are doing to make this town the great place it is. In the second part, the host and the guest will each bring up two things that you, the listener, need to know about in Kansas City: Things that are up-and-coming, things that are about to break, or things that you may not know about or may have missed in the City.
