About Us

2 guys trying to navigate the minefield of mental health and depression. Between the two of them, Tommy and Shane have over a decade of experience in the military and emergency services. Join them as they discuss the personal issues they have encountered from their experiences and talk to others that shed some light on the issues surrounding mental health. Who says mental health has to be depressing?

Shane and Tommy talk with Lindsay about transitioning from army life to the ambulance service. Below is a link to the DVA website containing information about the White Card. https://www.dva.gov.au/providers/dva-health-cards Eligible transitioning members of the ADF will be automatically provided a White Card for NLHC mental health treatment upon transitioning to civilian life. Clients who receive a White Card for this purpose are not required to make a claim for NLHC mental health treatment in order to receive treatment. The card also entitles the holder totransportrelated to treatment of their accepted condition and access to theRepatriation Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
