Dreaming of Packers

Jon and Aaron are eagerly awaiting the start of Packers Training Camp this coming week. Meanwhile, they are stuck in the midst of "list season." They discuss the preseason expectations for Badgers football. Then, they move into the Brewers to discuss the 5-2 stretch, the injury to Woodard, Hiura as the NL Player of the Week, and the usefulness of Ben Gamel. The guys discuss the addition of Kyle Korver to the Bucks before getting lost in some Army stories and ending with the Last Calls for the week.

Sports Abyss... and Video Games

Jon and Aaron are recording, but there is very little going on in the sports world. The All Star break ends the Brewers stumble slowly out of the break. A tough home series loss against the Giants fails to bring out optimism. Yelich and Hiura continue to rake, but the pitching continues to harm. The guys then run through Packers idle talk and then roam into some points on the Northwoods League. While traversing the random lines of sports talk, they end up with talk of the greatest video games of all time. Humor is the only way to survive the Sports Abyss.

No One Cares About the Summer League

Back again, Jon and Aaron manage to throw small bits of football stuff into a podcast episode without real football news. They also discuss the June Swoon of the Milwaukee Brewers. They touch on the recent minor league call ups and pitching woes. They discuss some of the past Brewers pitchers. Also, general feelings on the state of the Brewers as we enter the All Star Break. Then, there was some news in the NBA as the Bucks managed to retain Middleton but traded Brogdon. They now also employ the two Lopez brothers. Then they end with some talk of soccer, a little Bryce Harper lark and the NBA Summer League.
