About Us

The way we unlock our God-given potential is to allow a conversation with God to shape the most significant conversation we have, the one with ourselves.

Every day of every year we host conversations internally that directly impact what our lives look like on the outside - in the home, the workplace, everywhere.

When we allow the principles of the bible to lead us in having the right conversations it can drive how we feel and our passion, potential and purpose will emerge and converge. Host the wrong conversations and we will be frustrated rather than fulfilled.

In this highly original and insightful podcast, Gareth Morgan coaches and inspires us to host what he calls the winning conversation on the inside of our lives. This conversation unlocks our potential through applying winning keys of God’s word and our allowing our conversation with God to drive everything we do in life.

Each episode is designed to show us how God reveals WHO we are and that there is MORE in us than we think!

So if you are in a place of frustration because you do not feel like you are progressing as you should be in life, then get ready to move from frustration to focus, stress to strategy and form ambiguity to clarity.

It’s time to learn how God designed us to win and how we can help others do the same!

Introduction to The Winning Team

The Conversation that Shapes my Identity

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.” Romans 12:11.What does it mean to die to yourself? To kill off the ‘old me’?2.If we have to do this in order to live from our new identity, the question is how do we do it?-We want people to move beyond theory and into practically what does this look like in our daily lives?3.We need to be saved from our own motivations! What are some of the wrong motivations I have to be aware of in my life?-Serving to get noticed? Being generous to be praised? Let’s be specific!“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.”4.How aware of my own mindset am I?-We are told to embrace the renewing of our minds, which means we must grow in our awareness of it.-Do we notice when our mindset drifts away from faith into fear?5.Can you identify any unhealthy patterns in your own life?-We all have them! They could range from something like apathy towards prayer all the way through to comfort eating when stressed!6.Discuss how you view the ‘will of God’ in your life.-Like a tight rope you walk along, or a trail that you discover?

Children? Family? Friends? Colleagues?-Awareness of which conversations and relationships in my life are most important is an important starting block!2.What does conversation with God look like on a day to day basis?-Obviously prayer, but what is prayer to you? When? How? Why?-What part does ‘listening’ play in my conversation with God?3.In what ways does my conversation with God help to shape and influence all my other conversations?“To correct the conversation that went wrong, God had to send another word”1.What words do we embrace most?-Which words have the most influence in our lives?-The words of family/friends? The media? Our boss? Social media?2.How can we begin to embrace the Word of God more?-Let’s move beyond “read my Bible more”. Reading does not always mean embracing.-How can we begin to include evaluation and application into our Bible reading more?3.Is my relationship with God founded upon my conversation with Him, or my attendance to church programs?-If I was removed from where I am and placed on a desert island, would my relationship with God fall apart?!“Engaging in the losing conversation twists our perspective”1.What is your default response when you begin to struggle?-How easy do we find it to admit our struggles to others?-Do we go insular?2.Discuss times when you have experienced a twisted perspective on something because you engaged with the wrong conversation.“There’s not a power shortage, we’re just not connected enough!”1.On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being completely disconnected and 10 being completely immersed, where would I say my connection with the Church is?-This is about evaluating where we are actually at with regards to His Church.-Do I see it as family I belong to or as a function I attend.2.How regularly am I engaging in coaching conversations with people?-We want to become great at asking questions and great at answering questions.

The Winning Goal - Part 1

In this episode we discuss various reasons why many people plateau far before they realise their God given potential. If you want to engage further we encourage you to listen with a group of people and discuss the following questions.1.How do I view the potential and purpose God has put in me?-As an ocean or a puddle?!-Through the lens of myself or the bigger picture?-What Bible verses challenge your view of the potential you, and others, carry?2.Do I have someone who sees and draws out the potential in me?-This could be in any area of life. Academic? Career? Christian life?3.If I could change anything, what would it be?-If we are to view our purpose and potential through the change we want to see, not the lens of myself, then identifying what we would love to see change is key.4.Do I know the vision of my local church?-It is not your job to inform them, encourage them to ask their leaders.-If you struggle, think about whether or not you have ever asked your leaders.5.How do I view ...
