Lessons From the Road: Honoring Dad

Itâs been two years and itâs time to say a few things. Lessons from the Road is a moment to reflect and honor my dad and the very real life lessons that his driving lessons imprinted. Itâs been two years since my 9/11 and the synergy between the daily principles I live and my preteen driving lessons from dad are uncanny. The most important lessons about business and life, I learned behind the wheel of an old ford pickup truck, dad in the passenger seat. I was reminded in the last few weeks that he taught me a lot more than just how to safely operate a motor vehicle, he taught me to drive. Iâm still driving and my car is full. Thanks for the lessons dad, for the patience, and for teaching me more than maybe either of us realized at the time. Learning to Drive on the Road to Real.
