You are not your anxiety with Dr. Julie Groveman

EAnxiety. So many of us experience this normal emotion. And yet, anxiety is a common presentation in the therapy office, often times clients saying they want to get rid of it. It has taken over their lives and impacted their ability to cope each day. They have stopped going out to the grocery store. They have stopped seeing friends. They can't complete what they want to do each day because they are stuck in a worries and fears. Can you get rid of anxiety? In this episode, I talk all about shame and how it impacts our relationships, the difference between shame and guilt, and give strategies you can use to help you cope with shame.
