JoAnn DeVries - Fresh Outlook Foundation

I am so happy to say that JoAnn and I found time to sit down together. I have been overwhelmed with the generosity of this community. The Okanagan Region is so blessed to have as many dedicated people contributing to the work as we do. I am uploading this episode on a special night. Thanks to the leadership team of the OSLC (Okanagan Sustainability Leadership Council) who spearhead it's formation 6 months ago, I was privileged to be in the room on an important night. We have our board members in place, and have commited to moving forward as a not-for-profit Society in the province of BC. If it were up to me, I'd mark this day for future generations. This was a moment. A day when many individuals representing many communities across the region came together, as one. To express the need to consider an alternative way ahead. And apply the sort of consideration and care that is missing from so many of our most important agreements.

A Float Practice in Community

Taking the Pulse in Community

ESometimes life is like a journey through a land of dreams and make belief. Lofty Muse explores that journey and we want to take that adventure with you! Today's episode is about the transformational practice of floating, and we'll be learning firsthand from an expert. Six years ago, Dustin Erickson experienced a watershed moment in his life when he entered the float tank. Emerging on the other side, he decided never to live his life staring in the rear view mirror again. It hasn't been an easy road but now, after nearly four years of owning the first float center in B.C. outside of the lower mainland, it may be time for a change. This is our first interview at Lofty Muse, so it's one for the books. Thanks for being a part of the story Dustin!
