Mystery Transmission from Outer Space and SEX

This was a mystery transmission we received from outer space. We're thinking it came from somewhere in Orion's Belt, but you can be the judge.

Donald Frickin' Trump!

Ok, so we're bad at keeping a schedule and the news builds up and we go crazy. That's exactly what happened here when Joe and I got together and talked about as much Trump news as we could in an hour. We didn't cover all of it and there was much more after this (as there always is), but enjoy our take on the madman in the White House.

We Shall Conspire Against You

Our Millennial correspondent, Kaeli, joins us once again to discuss Conspiracy Theories and why some people may believe them. We could have talked all day on this one, so we will probably revisit this topic again so we can focus on a few particular, popular ones. Consider this one just the beginning...

Political Correctness (Don't be an a-hole)

We've mentioned PC in the past, but now the Fresh Kittens team addresses it head on. With the assistance of our new Millennial correspondent, Kaeli Lange, we touch on recent items in the news that challenge us to think about how political correctness affects our politics and relationships.

Talk about Pop Music/Drinking Pop

Joe andI have some disagreement on pop music and whether or not is really is "art". Apparently, he is a bit more lax with his definition than I am. With whom do you agree?

Aliens are among us

Are we the only intelligent life in the universe (assuming we are, indeed, intelligent)? If not, has intelligent life come to Earth? There are plenty of accounts of this being true. There are TV shows, documentaries and films that provide us some insight, or fantasy, of what it may be like. Joe and I express our own opinions on the matter. What do you believe?

Genetic Engineering is Scary Cool.

Yeah, so maybe the Nazis used eugenics and cruel and heinous ways, but that doesn't mean we were just going to let it go. Well, GE (Genetic Engineering) has taken on a life of its own (think GMOs, for example) and the future may be a little wierd with technology like CRISPR out there. Joe and I have some different opinions here (I am right, by the way). If you want that super baby, it may be possible in the next decade or two...

Post Inaugural Blues

Hello, Kittens! We're back! Joe and I discuss the new America under Trump now that he has been inaugurated. Let me give you a hint: We don't see it turning out too well.

The Virtual Experience

Joe and I get a little philosophical over the effect of our virtual world on society. We even sneak in a little tune from Distant Brother that is more than relevant (and quite good!) into our conversation. How does Facebook and other social media impact our ability and desire to physically connect with people? Was it always like this?

What is the purpose of education?

In this episode, we speak to Symantha Munoz-O'Byrne, who teaches 7th grade Social Studies in Georgia. Sam (as we know her) describes to us what they are doing in her school to engage kids into learning and how they are helping our young minds chart a course into the future. This is totally not how we did it when I was 13. Joe and I ask some serious questions about a very serious subject and Sam helps us understand the lesson. That is her job, after all. Thanks, Sam!
