One of the most exciting things Melbourne offers is the opportunity to get to know people of different cultural and language backgrounds. How to achieve this, however, is not always easy and straightforward though. In this episode, 3 university students from the Faculty of Arts talk about their experience in this. In January 2019, an article on TheAge (Struggling to understand his classes Zhikai liu took his own life ) reports on the suicide of an international student. Since then, international students wellbeing has been on the media spotlight. In this episode, Flora and Julia from the Arts Faculty, and Bo from Education, talk about their views on wellbeing. Issues brought up include: How to deal with the feeling of disconnection from the University, how they perceive of seeking help when struggling, what to do to feel better.
