#49 - Trusting Your Work with Lizzie Weber

Born and raised in St. Louis, MO and now based in Seattle, Lizzie Weber (@LizzieWebs) began her journey with the release of her debut album in 2014 with local magazine Eleven dubbing her, “Your Favorite New Artist of 2014.” No Depression called Lizzie's debut “a confessional record, but one that is very well handled, never straying into the over-dramatic, but instead honing in on a sound which is personal, powerful, and, at times, perfect.” Soon after, Lizzie followed this with her collaboration with Grammy-award winning producer Sheldon Gomberg and her brother John Schranck Jr. on "Love Again” which explored and incorporated a variety of dynamics into her approach including the use of orchestral instruments inspired by the lush, Brian Wilson-era sound of the 70's. #47 - How a Near Death Experience Led Kevin McCulloch to His Life's Work

For a good portion of Kevin McCulloch's (@floatingstl)? life he had wandered a path both outside of his awareness and unmarked by the signals of his own internal wisdom. The idea of intuition was largely unfamiliar and instead he unknowingly invested in a non-feeling existence which led to a dull sense of ache and emptiness. However this numbed feeling became familiar and thus went largely unnoticed. In the summer of 2007 while living in Prague, Czech Republic and working in Baku, Azerbaijan he was graced with a painful and terrifying experience forever altering his perception of existence. This event and the healing recovery period that followed realigned Kevin’s spirit to connect with a deeper knowing which he strives to resource in his current daily practice. Shifting from a strategy of competition, acquisition, and power as a business consultant to one of service, compassion, and love, Kevin directed his path to becoming a psychotherapist focused on mindfulness, meditation, and...
