Why Every Kid Should Learn to Code In this episode I talk about why I think every kid should learn to code and why I think it should be a mandatory class in the school system. This topic is something I am very passionate about and is one of the reasons I teach programming on my YouTube channel as well as at a summer camp. For the past two years I have taught the basics of python to children ages (9-15) and it has opened my eyes to effects of the education system. In today's world kids are NOT taught to think. They are simply told to memorize formulas and recite information and have a serious lack of problem solving and critical thinking skills. How I learned to program at age 12... In this episode I talk about my unpredictable journey into the programming world. Starting as early as age 12 and working towards where I am today.
