The Art of Stop Motion Cinema
- About Us
University of Minnesota - Time and Interactivity and Beijing Now are courses that asked students to experiment with time-based and interactive art using the computer as a tool. These are both courses that asked students to use technology to create art and community. In both courses, instructor Cheryl Wilgren-Clyne asked students to engage with new ideas, concepts and strategies that explored all types of media. Beijing Now is a collaboration between the Beijing Film Academy, one of the most prestigious film and art schools in Asia, and the Department of Art at the University of Minnesota. In this course, students were asked to work toward a sustainable artistic relationship with a student artist from China.
