72. Grant Lyon Loves His Siblings, Wendy, Blake, and Kelsey

Comedian Grant Lyon spent most of his early life in California, and recalls his mom telling him that she had two “batches” of kids: He and his younger sister, Kelsey, and his significantly older siblings, brother Blake, and the eldest Wendy. And Grant tells me all about their love and support, and also how he was a really smart kid in school, AND a goofball-troublemaker, too. Grant was his high school valedictorian and is pretty sure he led his class in times getting detention as well. Faysal Lawrence spent the first 5 years of his life in Saudi Arabia before moving to the U.S. without knowing how to speak English. But it didn’t take very long for him to learn. And this goofy, comedy-loving kid always had a great sense of humor. In fact, his brand of humor was actually ahead of his classmates. So for a while only adults found him funny! Faysal's life has had many up and downs, and he credits many people for being there for him and supporting him. And one such person is friend, Ruben Herrera, his basketball buddy who always pushed Faysal to go further in comedy. instagram.com/therealface, peoplewelovepodcast.com, instagram.com/adamchoit

65. Sean McBride Loves Comedian, Vic Dunlop

Comedian and fellow Syracuse University grad, Sean McBride moved around the country quite a bit when he was real young, but eventually settled with his family in Western Massachusetts. Thinking he would become a sports broadcaster, Sean found those jobs and assignments didn’t seem to offer him the creative freedom he was seeking, and eventually found his true calling. Comedy. And Sean tells me stories of the road, talks the craft, and shares his love for other comics... including one Vic Dunlop, an actor and comedian who Sean spent several years opening for. And these two had a very special relationship up until Vic passed in 2011. 64. Matt Larson Loves Actor, Comedian Adam Sandler

Actor and sometimes comedian, Matt Larson was born and raised in Vallejo, California. Though a sensitive kid, he for the most part managed to avoid being bullied because he was tall. It also helped that he started playing guitar in middle school and discovered a group of other weirdos to hang out with. It was around this time when he also discovered the comedy of one of his favorites, and of my favorites, and one of the most prolific performers of our era, Adam Sandler. marslegstrong.com/ peoplewelovepodcast.com/
