【内容简介】


本书以北方某省会城市一个平民区共乐区为背景，以一位周姓平民子弟的生活轨迹为线索，从20世纪70年代写到改革开放后的21世纪10年代，多角度、多方位、多层次地描写了中国社会的巨大变迁和百姓生活的跌宕起伏。


周父是根红苗正的老一辈建筑工人，长子响应国家号召，上山下乡变知青；长女为追求“诗人”的爱情，远赴贵州农村插队；小儿子留在城市，成为工人一份子……小说刻画了十几位平民子弟跌宕起伏的人生，展示了波澜壮阔的中国社会巨变。


全书有筋骨、有道德、有温度，是近年来不可多得的一部长篇小说佳作，更是梁晓声长篇小说创作的一个新的高峰。小说系中国作家协会2017年度重点作品扶持选题，也是“十三五”国家重点出版物出版规划项目图书。


【作者简介】


梁晓声，原名梁绍生，祖籍山东荣成，1949年生于哈尔滨市，当代作家、学者。北京语言大学人文学院资深教授，全国政协委员、中央文史研究馆馆员。著有《今夜有暴风雪》《这是一片神奇的土地》《雪城》《返城年代》《年轮》《知青》等作品数十部，多部作品被译介到海外。
