Hey, bro… are you ready for another trip to Asgard? Or what’s left of it, anyway? Then grab your 80s hair metal vest and listen up as we review Thor: Love and Thunder. Once again we dive into the colorful and calamitous world of Taika Waititi and his wacky (or is that too wacky?) take on everyone’s favorite god of capentry… sorry, Thunder, with a new fourth entry into the Thor franchise. Natalie Portman returns, as does a host of fan-fav characters, whether it’s Thor, or Gorr, or Korg… note to Marvel: some non-rhyming names might be in order next time. But either way, we stole the lightning bolt and rode the goats to Valhalla on this one, so don’t flick too hard, just check out UNT 140! Hosted by: ‘Greeig the Pod Butcher’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘SuperJew’ Jared Robinovitz (@SuperJew75) & 'Jane Fonda' Rok (@Roknowledge) from the MatMania Podcast (@MatManiaPodcast). Music by: Dio.

You also get an unusual movie full of unique visuals and characters faster than you can say, ‘fan service’. So join us and special guest, pro wrestler Moondog Greg Murray from the Shellshock Network as we grabbed our sling rings for another groovy adventure. With the Multiverse of Madness on its way, we used the power of the Time Stone to go back and correct a mistake to finally review the MCU movie from 2016, Doctor Strange. Benedict Cumberbatch and Stephen Strange have since become a mainstay in the MCU, but this is where it all started. We covered sorcerers, sling rings, the difference between dimensions, realities and universes, as well as taking a look to the future to what the new Doctor Strange film might unlock. Most of all, we want Bruce Campbell. Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). We’re in that in-between space from AEW Revolution to WWE WrestleMania. AEW put on a heck of a show. WWE’s gonna do what they do. Overall, we’re still having fun, especially watching the likes of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson/Mox/Regal, Thunder Rosa, and Kevin Owens as they do their things. But with the fun, comes the real stuff too. We had to say goodbye to a childhood favorite in Scott Hall. And we saw a tragic accident occur with the beloved Big E (Langston.. we still put some respect on the name!). Join us as we find ourselves on the Road to WrestleMania (watch party, not the actual thing). RIP WrestleMania Road Trip. Long live the WrestleMania Road Trip! Yet another comic book reboot has landed upon us, but is this one any good? Opinions are mixed, but we decided to dive cowl-first into The Batman. A new psychopathic version of The Riddler... an obsessive, detective Batman... non-Catwoman Selina Kyle and more flying rats that you can poke a Batarang at, this movie was so full of comic book lore, we spent almost the full runtime discussing it. So before you join the ‘ugly actors need roles too’ picket line, chill out at the Iceberg Lounge and take a listen to our latest episode. Hosted by: 'Captain Boomerang' Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Before we return to Gotham, it’s time to grab your helmet and hug your eagle as we take a look at the new DC / HBO series: Peacemaker. What do you do if you’re a former pro-wrestler looking to nab a breakout role in a hit comic book franchise? Apparently, you go to James Gunn. We discussed this aspect of John Cena’s new superhero career as well as falling into many of our usual tangents, including what exactly makes a butterfly a butterfly, how best to create an opening titles sequence for your new show and of course, what Aquaman really does with all those fish. So find your chainsaw and check out episode 135 of Unfunny Nerd Tangent. Hosted by: 'Captain Boomerang' Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: 'Fish Lover' Tim Agne (@timagne). On this week’s show, we focus a good chunk of time on breaking down this weekend’s stellar AEW Revolution card. Between that show and the big news about Ring of Honor being acquired by Tony Khan, there’s a LOT to speculate about. What will the championship scene look like in AEW? Who will the key power players be coming out of Revolution? What will become of ROH – do they operate as their own kind of thing, or do they become a developmental ground of sorts? Beyond that (and potentially related) – what will happen with guys like William Regal, Cesaro, and Samoa Joe. Between AEW, ROH, and other options like New Japan – the world is their oyster. We also take some time to talk about C*ntrol Your Narrative and the ridiculousness that surrounds that shitshow of an organization. BLAH. Join us, won’t you? Come with us as we return to that galaxy far, far away and open up The Book of Boba Fett. Boba Fett has always held a special place in many Star Wars fans’ hearts, and rumors of his own live-action story has been around longer than the sandpeople have roamed the desert. So with Season One now concluded, we took a closer look at this legendary bounty hunter and his recent adventures. Fennec! Rancors! Runaway trains! Jedi! The Dark Saber! Thundercat! Cobb Vanth! Flashdance! And the live action debut of Cad Bane! All of this and more on the latest Unfunny Nerd Tangent. Hosted by: ‘Captain Boomerang’ Greig Tansley (@GreigT13).
