Today we're chatting with Dr. Susan Albers, a New York Times best-selling author and a clinical psychologist at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Albers specializes in eating issues, weight loss, body image concerns, and mindfulness. You may not know this but October is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month and October 15th is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. There are so many families that have experienced these heartbreaking losses. In fact, today I'm chatting with one of my former doula clients, now turned friend, Megan McAlister, who is one of those families. Megan is a mother of four surviving children, ages 8, 6, 3 and 1. She is passionate about her personal experience with neonatal loss and her three subsequent VBACs (vaginal births after cesarean).
