The Wrong Dose - A True Story of Medication Error S2E1

Safety Rules sat down with Margo, a fantastic oncology nurse, who told me about the night she gave a patient too much insulin, and he coded. He lived, and Margo is still at the same job, and is a well respected nurse leader. This story could have ended up so differently! In the interview, she opened up about how the error went down, and we talked about the slowly changing culture of healthcare from blame and shame, to transparency and truth.
