Freedom to Run: Fitness | Nutrition | Running
Rachel Davis has a passion for both running and nutrition. She is fascinated with how our bodies process fuel and how we can optimize nutrition to reach our full physical potential. This combination of passion and fascination led her to study exercise physiology and then nutrition sciences. Rachel has always been a competitive runner. In college, she ran the 400m hurdles and was a two-time NCAA qualifier. As the demands of research and studies increased, she made the switch to distance running by completing her first marathon in 2016. Then she went into the 2017 Boston Marathon and finished as the 36th overall female. For 2018, she is taking that experience and turning it into motivation for chasing after the 2020 USA Olympic Trials standard of 2:45:00.
