What Ethical, Effective Good Life Looks Like

A good life it’s not necessarily subtle, lame, or dull. But those who are living it they’re mindful. Where they could’ve ignored, they choose to ask what can I do to help. Where they could’ve been offended, they say I’m sorry I was wrong. Where they could’ve fought they leave it as it is, not because they can’t win. But because almost always there are more valuable things than winning a fight. P.S. This lesson is a part of a free email course to help you live your life to have a massive competitive advantage. What Ethical, Effective Good Life Looks Like

A Plan for Mindful Growth and Bringing Fun Back to Your Life

Choose to enjoy the process. Success is not an overnight transformation or a flawless process. There are mistakes, terrible ones even. There is also a little joy, sadness, and a dash of hope. As I am making this progressive realization toward a worthy goal. I can go through it beating myself up, catching myself doing evil, and hating the process altogether. But perhaps I can make a choice, regardless of what’s happening around me. To be mindful and appreciate the wonder of it all. To put a smile on a strangers face, to spare a moment to say thank you to the waiter. Don’t you want once in a while to pause and to appreciate the wonders of life? I do. P.S. 8 Easy Tweaks that Could Lead to Outsized Improvement in Your Podcast Production Today

As I share I learn. Tweak #1. Repetition I at least recorded 84 or 85 records of the first three episodes. What doesn’t work to keep my process simplified? That was what I was trying to figure out and I repeat what works. Tweak #2. Write it Down One of the reasons I recorded so many takes at first. I kept making obvious mistakes. Now I write down what I wish to talk about word for word. Tweak #3. Have a Purpose To give you a place where you can get a more useful perspective on your life. And your success goals it’s the purpose of the Wild Joyous show. It’s why those who seek for more I lead them to a place where they can receive more help. Tweak #4. Guide. I have a content guide I use where I have outlined at least 60 ideas and short briefs I will love to talk on this show. Use of these summaries every day helps to create a new episode. I add to this guide as I go. Tweak #5. Tools The simplest answer is always the correct one. It has been like this for me during this process. I went from using 6 tools to using 1. Tweak #6. Reduce I used to record each part of the show separately. Intro, the content of the show, outro and so forth I do that no longer. I record it in one go. Tweak #7. Re-use I reuse what has been working for me. I have a template for this podcast. With some parts that get reused like the intro words, call to action, and how I talk about the next topic. This way I reduce the work. Tweak #8. Cost The cost can go up quickly as you set up your production and tools. From hosting, microphones, audio interfaces, and others cost that comes with making a podcast. As I build up experiences I spend less. Bonus Tweak Learn I could have at least saved $1000 if I learned first before starting making a podcast. I have things I have purchased but I no longer use. Ps. This is a genuine chronicle of events as they unfold as I build a small business. Short, personal, and concise letter. Send to share my fears, failures, and success. No hidden agenda, just plain old sharing. Click here to learn more

8 Easy Tweaks that Could Lead to Outsized Improvement in Your Podcast Production Today

A Way to Master Entrepreneurial Uncertainty

Try. I’m changing a number of things in the way I work. Everything in my body is telling me to protect my pride, stop showing the fear. But I am afraid. Why? I’ve reasons to be afraid. I’ve made so many mistakes in these past six years as I learn to build a sustainable business. I’m learning how not to make some more. But to learn it’s not a guarantee I won’t make any. Seven partnership that didn’t work, for most of them lack of appropriate skill, was a determining factor. I’ve stopped or moved out of a handful of projects sometimes at a too much personal expense. Emotionally and financially. But from today onward I promise myself to try. In the face of failure, loss, and hurt. I’ll try. Ps. This is a genuine chronicle of events as they unfold as I build a small business. Short, personal, and concise letter. Send to share my fears, failures, and success. A Way to Master Entrepreneurial Uncertainty

How Successful Creative People Measure Their Lives

Successful creative people don’t measure their lives, based on other people’s standards. They measure their lives on their own terms. I didn’t know then that this was the key factor that distinguishes, satisfying creative life from a miserable one To put this into perspective, let me talk about a year I spent entirely feeling miserable. How I began to drown as I got distracted Two years before, I stumbled upon a place. Where it was easy to find stories, I loved to read. I found these stories and I collected them in one place. After two years. About 23,342 people followed the stories I have collected. It was during this time I got distracted. I looked at other people’s way of doing things. It convinced me I need to make money selling to these people, or I will be wasting my time. Easy to forget step to consider every time you succeed. Ignoring the fact I didn’t set out to build a place which will have stories read by millions of people. I didn’t set out to work alongside thousands of brilliant writers, doctors, movie stars, psychotherapist, speakers, and coaches. People I could have never met otherwise. I forgot all this was grace. How I get a valuable perspective on what’s happening Being so sad at the time, I almost deleted the place altogether. After this troubling time. I try, though sometimes it can’t be avoided. To not measure my life based on other people’s standards. Ps. This is a genuine chronicle of events as they unfold as I build a small business. Short, personal, and concise letter. How Successful Creative People Measure Their Lives

The Other Side of a Life as an Entrepreneur

Debt. Seven years ago when I was getting started with life as an entrepreneur. The debt was a thing I heard other people had not me. Okay, at least I had an idea of the debt to owe a friend few bucks, with a promise to repay. But what I hadn’t experienced yet up to that time was the debt that came with life as an entrepreneur. As fate will have it, I was about too, and believe me, debt is more than about money. In search of a betterstart After I proposed an idea for a business I was about to do to my father. I took a considerable amount from him. The idea sounded logical, doable, and possible but I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. I had enough funds for six months. I thought after this duration the business will be capable enough. To help me carry the weight that comes with expenses. I was wrong, it didn’t. Why the best start isn’t always the most to endwell The business was slow, not that I didn’t consider this in my initial judgment, but my initial assessments were way off. I had a business set up to serve 200 people per month, I was getting 10 to 13 every two months. The funds I had in store for those six months run out in the third month. I was an emotional mess, I thought I was a failure because the business was failing. The tyranny of wrongly assessed situations I started to get into fights with family members especially my father. Started making excuses to my landlord mostly because most of the time when rent was approaching I had no money. Started to slack behind on what could be achieved, as a leader, I was failing my people. The promise I initially made to my people was failing, of making this into something in about six months or so. On making choices and finding new solutions I started to drown in thoughts, what do I do now? The work I’ve already done is enormous, I can’t quit now. Can I? So what to do, I took more money and thus putting more strain on those who I was taking the amount from, mostly family and friends. This ruined the support system I previously had, family. I was stuck, alone, and with no one to talk to. The debt was pilling on both sides. Those two and a half years when I was running the business were the loneliest I’ve ever been in my life. Ps. This is a genuine chronicle of events as they unfold as I build a small business. Short, personal, and concise letter. Send to share my fears, failures, and success.
