About Us

Surviving and thriving after the abuse and trauma of a relationship with someone who has Borderline or suspected Borderline Personality Disorder, comorbid Borderline Personality Disorder, and Narcissistic Personality Disorder can be difficult. Accepting the consequences of a Cluster B Personality Disordered person in your life can leave a lot of questions. You Can't Split Me is a podcast by survivors, for survivors. Seeking answers to the questions, healing, cleansing, and moving on as a community is a critical part of ending the Trauma Bonds.

The Frog and the Scorpion...? Not So Fast!

Have you recently exited a relationship with a narcissistically abusive partner? A comorbid Borderline? A manipulative and psychologically abusive person in general? Then there's a good chance that you've heard the Frog and the Scorpion story as an analogy for what happened to you. But not so fast! As a survivor, I have taken a different approach this. I believe there is more at play than innocent naivety and empathy on behalf of the co-dependent victim. In this episode I take a head-long approach into analysing, reflecting, accepting, and growing for the co-dependent type person. There was more at play here than meets the eye and the more self aware we are, the more tools we can gain to self-love, heal, and prevent repeat mistakes in future relationships.

The Frog and the Scorpion...? Not So Fast!

Understanding The Narcissist

Understanding a Narcissist. Sounds like a loaded question, doesn't it? That's because it is. After spending so much of my time trying to understand and come to terms with what they are and why they act the way they do, I was determined to approach it from an angle of compassion, abstract observation, and understanding. The result is a clear, empathetic, and compassionate breakdown of what I believe drives them, their continued behavior, and the eventual demise of their relationships with others. I look at how they handle entitlement, boundaries, conflict, fear, introspection, individuality, and parenting, all from a perspective of someone who operated all too close to one for far too long.

Understanding Trauma Bonds

Welcome back to You Can't Sp/it Me. Today's episode answers the questions about what Trauma Bonds are and how to accept that you may be experiencing them. Exiting a relationship with an abusive Borderline or Suspected Borderline Personality Disordered Partner, a Narcissistic Personality Disordered Partner, or any abusive relationship leaves scars behind. Often times, these scars leave us wanting to rekindle the love we felt for our abusers. Why? What drives us to go back? Why would we want to? Am I overly sensitive? What's wrong with me? I talk about all these questions and more and do my best to sort through the survival experience, as witnessed first-hand.
