Fengsuo Zhou is a President of Humanitarian China, a non-profit organization that is focused on development of a civil society in China to promote rule-of-law, human rights, and freedom of expressions.
Fengsuo was one of the student leaders during the Tiananmen Square protest of 1989, and post massacre, ended up on the list of 21 Most Wanted issued by the Chinese government.
We discussed what happened at the Square 30 years ago, his role at the protest, his arrest, and the life afterwards.
