We are 'The music matters Podcast'. Music Matters contains hosts Craig and Bradd. We started this because music has a big impact in our lives and shapes us to who we are. Music matters will consist of Artists, DJ's and Producers, brands and promotors from all over to talk about songs, Equipment, club nights, events, history of the electronic music scene and everything that goes with it. EM DOT R is a dancehall artist from the UK. Growing up in a part of London that is heavily influenced by Jamaican culture he embraced that culture from an early young age with inspirations of Shabba D, Flowdan Maxwell D, Beenie Man, Popcaan, Vybz Kartel. Through this time grime was growing large in the UK and making its mark in the music world. M DOT R flowed with the grime scene although whilst doing this he stayed true to himself with drive and determination to becoming a successful dancehall artist. With millions of views on social media platforms and performances for the like of Radio1 XTRA, Radar, Blackbox, Nottinghill carnival to name a few, M DOT R’s image and sound was growing larger by the day. Whilst doing this he was showcasing his love for cooking his own social media platforms which became a big hit with fans, this lead to many requests to show more and M DOT R decided to start COOK n VIBE on YouTube. COOK n VIBE grew huge showing different types of recipes and dishes from around different parts of the world showcasing the different cultures found in different country's food. Spending a lot of time in Jamaica through most of the years not only has M DOT R embraced the Jamaican culture through his music but also through food too. Tim has been designing bespoke sounds for synthesizers professionally since 2011 for some very well known brands, such as Dave Smith, Moog, Novation, Roland and Korg In 2013 Dave Smith Instruments approached Tim to produce factory sounds for their flagship synthesizer the Prophet 12, followed by work on the Pro 2 in 2014. In 2016 Tim partnered with Korg to develop exclusive sounds for their Minilogue, UK producer set. Then in 2017 he worked on the factory sounds for the iMono/Poly. Korg announced their new flagship synthesizer the 'Prologue'- upon which Tim also made a significant contribution to the factory presets. When producing sound-sets the focus is simple, combine a few bread and butter Bass/Leads/Pads - those that have laid the foundations of chart music for the last 50 years - alongside more progressive, modish and unique sounds.
