About Us

Welcome to Learning with Liv! We all have those moments that we have no idea how to do something that everyone else in the world seems to know, and we feel too stupid to ask because it’s just expected of us. I’m going to take you with me on my journey into the unknown and untalked about of your 20’s, and even beyond. This is the no-bs guide to all you need to know about the stuff they don’t teach you. Each podcast episode will explore a different facet of being a young adult and how to navigate all of the in-between stuff that life may throw at you.

An Honest F***ing Guided Meditation

Single Pringle ft. Ryan Clark

EAs my guest in this episode, Ryan Clark, says: dating in your twenties can feel like a wooden roller coaster surrounded by nuclear flames. I have to agree with him. We go on a million dates, do crazy things for the ones that made a good impression, get hurt, hurt others, and do it all over again until we find the right match. Heck, when we recorded this episode I was dating a guy I really liked, bragged about never being dumped before, and got broken up with three days later. That’s what your early 20’s are all about. Trying things, taking risks, and having them fail until you’re one step closer to the thing that sticks. In this episode, Ryan and I share about our dating escapades, read some of your worst date stories, and give you our nuggets of wisdom on navigating relationships in your early 20’s. I roast myself real hard about my recent breakup. We hope you enjoy and take something away from it and wish you luck on your roller coaster ride surrounded by nuclear flames. Be sure to share YOUR worst date story with me! I got so many awesome submissions that I am going to do a full bonus episode sharing all of your cringiest stories! The Top Lessons I've Learned While Adulting

EI've been adulting for a while now. These past 20ish months have been a flurry of paper resumes, burnt chocolate chip cookies, quitting and starting (and quitting and starting) jobs, liquid courage, teary therapy sessions, moments of confidence, moments of impulse, nights on laying on the floor of my one bedroom apartment mindlessly watching The Great British Bake-Off because I just workeda 12 hour day, confused days as I tried to remember my passwords for the various bills I needed to pay and a whole lot of learning. I've always loved any kind of anniversary. Birthdays, relationships, pretty much anything I could measure in time. Since it's my year-a-versery at work and my 20ish month-a-versery in the "adult world", I thought I would share with you the top things I figured out that I wish I knew when I graduated. I hope you enjoy this solo episode! You got this, don't listen to the bullshit, and keep on learning! Don’t forget to subscribe, rate, and review the podcast and follow L...

When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Vodka Lemonade

EThis episode took quite the turn. The plan was to have a full interview with my mom about her early 20’s, hear a bit of her insight, and answer some questions from all of you. Well, life definitely threw lemons at me at 100 mph. Listen in to hear the very dramatic retelling of the story of this episode, the advice that we answered during the third attempt at the interview, and more. Hard lessons are necessary. You will make mistakes, learn and grow from them. When life gives you lemons, make vodka lemonade! AKA make it work, something really great may come out of it.
