About Us

RadioZoom is one of the earliest podcasts to come out of the initial wave of excitement about the new medium in 2004. What started out as an experiment, a nerdy implementation of recently discovered coding skills, and in a era post-college radio days, RadioZoom became an adventure in social networking among fellow podcasters and people who actually listened to what I was publishing to the world. Stories, soundseeing, and music. Podcasting for the hell of it.

RZ#148 – Hanson at the Commodore in Vancouver

[Show Notes Link]Direct Download Link | 26.37 MB | 21:49 Trying my hand at podcast producing yet again, we go mobile for this special episode. Yesterday Keira and I met up with Zac, Taylor and Isaac Hanson before their show in Vancouver. Music in this episode: Clip: MMMBop from the album Middle of Nowhere by HansonClip: Great Divide by Hanson – Available for $0.99 on iTunes, proceeds going to HIV/AIDS research Links to note: Hanson’s official websiteTake The WalkTOMS Shoes My official article has been posted on E!Online. RZ#145 – New Music West Interview and Preview

[Show Notes Link]Direct Download Link | 15.61 MB | 13:36 For the last 18 years the New Music West festival has been a centerpiece for independent music, musicians, and industry professionals in Vancouver. I was able to contact Jory Groberman from 29 Productions (the folks who made New Music West possible for the last few years) and chat a bit about what’s in store. What’s also pretty cool is that they’re handing me a media pass for the event(s) so watch for more announcements and coverage in the month ahead. [Keira-Anne][Miss604] Photo by: Keira-Anne on Flickr This is actually part one and we’re uncertain when the raw, uncut “part two” will be released. So for now, enjoy the sounds of a BC Ferry, and two girls who are super excited to hit the powder up on Mt. Washington.
