Prop 12 - What comes first? The chicken or the space?

Welcome back to the Propositioned Podcast! In the final episode of this year's season, KFI's Kris Ankarlo takes a look at both sides of Prop. 12, a ballot measure that is promising to let the animals roam free. Supporters of the measure say Prop. 12 is necessary step because confining animals inside a tiny cage is cruel and threatens food safety. But opponents say the measure is a sell-out to the egg industry and betrays animals because Californians already voted to ban cages by 2015. Get both sides of the issue in the final episode of Propositioned!

In today's episode of Propositioned, Kris Ankarlo takes a look at both sides of Proposition 8, a ballot measure that's targeting the dialysis clinic industry for exchanging blood for profits. Prop 6: The Gas Tax Fight Finally Reaches the Ballot Box

In today's episode of Propositioned, KFI's Kris Ankarlo takes a look at both sides of Prop 6, a ballot measure intended to repeal the SB 1 gas tax passed by the legislature late last year. If passed, Prop 6 would repeal the fuel and vehicle taxes recently passed by the legislature. It would also require any new taxes to be passed by a majority of voters to approve any new or increased fuel and vehicle taxes in the future. If Prop 6 fails, the SB 1 fuel and vehicle taxes will remain and pay for needed highway and road maintenance and repair. Propositioned - Prop 5: Attacking the Affordable Housing Crisis

In today's episode of Propositioned, Kris Ankarlo takes a look at Prop. 5, a ballot measure supporters say is designed to take on the affordable housing crisis here in California. If passed, Prop. 5 would give seniors 55 and older (or the severely disabled) greater freedom to move without increasing their tax bill through the elimination of the 'moving penalty' imposed by Prop. 13. Opponents call the measure a deal local governments can't afford, and wouldn't do much to end the affordable housing crisis in California. Propositioned - Prop 3: A River of Cash Runs Through Proposition 3

On today's episode of Propositioned, Kris Ankarlo investigates both sides of Proposition 3, a ballot measure that Proposition 3 would authorized nearly $9 billion in bonds to pay for various water infrastructure projects across the state. If passed, proponents say the state would be able to fund various water and environmental projects that would increase the reliability and capacity of drinkable water during droughts, as well as improve the water quality in our ocean, bays, and rivers. However, opponents say the bond measure is just a giveaway to lots of various organizations, and won't produce one drop of new, usable water. KFI's Kris Ankarlo examines both sides of the issue in this episode of Propositioned.

Propositioned - Prop 2: A bond measure that borrows money without actually borrowing money?

On today's episode of Propositioned, we learn about Prop 2, a ballot measure proponents say is designed to borrow money, without borrowing money. Prop 2 allows the state to issue $2 billion in already authorized bonds that will be used to build permanent supportive housing for those with mental illness who are homeless. If passed, the state will be allowed to use up to $140 million every year of county mental health funds to repay the bonds. A no vote means the state will have to turn to the courts to see if they can use existing funds to pay for housing.
